saving drowning fish :-0

While looking for a new idea around me, a friend sent me a photo that got me thinking, 'am i wasting my time'. think about it... Are we living our lives trying hard to make a difference yet we are only doing the opposite of it. am i spending my life saving a drowning fish,? are you stuck with someone, who abuses your emotions when all you need to do is put the fish back in the water and let it swim..!

After the hiatus

It has been a while and i had a strange writers block that took me more than a year to go past it. So this is for a new year and a new beginning.    Over the past year, i have formed numerous relationships and lost close to the same number, and as a twenty something year old it really is not a shock. As we try to find ourselves you come to the conclusion that, its time i changed the group i hang or with or the people in my life. At times you out grow your childhood friends and get distant with your best friends.  So dealing with all that made me realise i may not have the same reasoning i had back then when i started this blog and over time i have learnt to embrace the person that i am, so should you.Hence the change of the package...  In world where every one tries to fit in  and fall back on their dreams because life happens and time passes you by, i have discovered the importance of taking a break to just stop and smell the roses. Live,Laugh,Love. breat...

schools OUT

So everyone's been complaining that the sun is too hot and the dust ,unbearable....   Then the cold season comes in and i just can't stand the rain. Good riddance and the planting time is neigh. It gets me thinking, the year is half way through, and my ten point to-do list (i write one each year) feels like a reminder of how much i have yet to do. Never mind i eat and point six =add weight...  hasn't even sunk in. Yes, i have had great experiences and at times i don't know how i got through them. I remember at the beginning of the year i had gone on a volunteering job, at a primary school, yes.. a teacher. The little kids made it an awesome time for me with their curiosity and oblivion. One time i was with them in class and one of the boys complained that his desk mate had a foul smell, i tried to avert the situation but then, the other kids came in saying that he had pooped on himself,...the horror. At this point i could smell it too and when kids  come on to you l...

the old is gone the new has come

The old is gone the new has come, A passenger in waiting for the stop, the belt hangs loosely by her side, the trees fading in the distance, a hotel closing down,  a black cloud hangs low, far more than four years ago, when th rest are in cheer.. we're sulking and tears brimming, heroes of the past and present, the state crumbling, The old is gone..., a far cry, and mummurs are heard, the new not withstanding, the new dawn, they claim so bright, a nation scatters in fright, Wisdom comes with age,                    an adage? so when the black skies release, and their childrens children hide, turning into gatherers of money and fame, Yet we mourn, the dew not even vapour, but the leasing starts, When the old is gone the new comes in...so as i know that the clock never does stop ticking, and the time will come when the makers of the nation will be no more.

new beginnings

nature and time is all i can mind, when every human works for survival and recreational purposes.... a battling of the mind and your simply all i think about. Forbidden days soon left behind, a sudden jerk and change occurs. The paradox of thoughts also forgotten and habits abandoned. Death to my flesh and arising of you, in me. Am not settling for something so much as half baked, and anyway am not up for a stomach upset either, so i'll keep raising the bar. The one on my mind, does not compromise, why should i?        Redemption came freely and i took it fully for by grace i am saved and in love with christ.... Its all i can ever count on even when the silent silence comes.

1 i give you praise coz ur king

As I wake up and my eye lids flutter, I rub my eyes trying to remember the dream I just had but my memory fails me. I stare out the window and I see a clear blue sky and mummur to myself how beautiful the day would be. I leave my bed and walk to the shower not bothering to say hi to my family first. I dress and leave the house to my daily routine. I don't bother to say a prayer of thanks or even protection, yet I call Him my father. I don't sit to think of the many times he helped me safely across the road, for He is my king and Saviour, He is the giver of life and the many times I forgot to thank you oh lord Am saying it now thank you for waking me up for I know its not the alarm clock or the buzzing in the town but you.... I give you praise coz your king.

my first....

The blowing wind, in a howling sound, speaking with force of unknown source, the heavens show their glory, as the thunder strikes, the blackness greets me, I see not my front or my surroundings, hyenas laugh in the distance, bugs live up to their name and nag, the sting of loneliness, yet the afraid ,as I am, run, as i beg for mercy, calling to HIM who rescues....
